The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia approves the new Foreign Exchange Operations Regulation and its annexes, which replace the regulation established by Resolution No. 63/2013. The new rules mandate that the Official Exchange Rate (OER) be calculated daily as a weighted average of USD purchase operations conducted by Multiple Banks, PymE Banks, and the Public Bank with their clients, with data submission required by 17:00 hours. Financial entities are prohibited from selling USD above a reference value set at the OER plus 10 Bolivianos, and the OER will be published daily at 20:00 hours for use by the public sector and general public. This regulation applies to public sector entities, ASFI-authorized financial institutions, and private individuals or legal entities conducting foreign exchange operations.
