The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia approves the Investment Guidelines for the administration of the Foreign Currency and National Currency with Value Maintenance Relative to the Dollar Liquidity Asset Requirement Funds (RAL-ME and RAL-MVDOL). These guidelines authorize investments in US dollars within countries holding sovereign credit ratings of AA or higher, impose a portfolio duration limit of 0.6 years, and set concentration limits for government, agency, supranational, and banking sectors. The resolution repeals previous Board Resolutions No. 007/2016 and No. 045/2016, and mandates that the funds be managed by the Central Bank of Bolivia through its International Operations Department.
