BRD Circular No. 03: Regarding Placement of Four Finance Companies Under Resolution Process
Bangladesh Bank places Abhiva Finance Limited, FS Finance & Investment Limited, Far East Finance & Investment Limited, and International Leasing & Financial Services Limited under the resolution process under the Banking Resolution Act, 2026. This action is taken to restore good governance, ensure accountability, protect depositors' interests, and restore public confidence in the financial sector. The circular is addressed to the Managing Directors, CEOs, and Chief Executive Officers of all scheduled banks and finance companies operating in Bangladesh.
