BRPD Circular Letter No. 11: Master Circular on Schedule of Charges
The document prohibits scheduled banks from charging any service fees, commissions, or similar charges other than an endorsement fee when selling foreign currency through their authorized dealer branches. It caps the endorsement fee at a maximum of 300 Bangladeshi Taka. These instructions are issued under Section 45 of the Companies Act, 1991, and take immediate effect to encourage domestic currency purchases.
