The Bangladesh Bank increases the refinance scheme for the jute sector by an additional 100 crore Taka, raising the total limit to 300 crore Taka, and extends the fund's maturity period by five years. Scheduled banks are authorized to provide loans to jute mills and exporters at a bank rate, with interest payable at a maximum of 8% per annum on a quarterly basis. All other instructions from BRPD Circular Letter No. 11/2014 remain unchanged, and these directives take immediate effect.
