BRPD Circular Letter No. 20: Name change of Bank Asia Ltd to Bank Asia PLC
Bangladesh Bank has officially changed the name of Bank Asia Ltd to Bank Asia PLC in the list of scheduled banks, effective from Tuesday, 16 April 2024, in accordance with Rule 11C(1) of the Companies Act, 1994. This action is implemented via Notification No. BRPD(LS-1)/745(53)/2024-3149, a copy of which is attached to the circular for the information and necessary action of all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh.
