BRPD Circular Letter No. 21: Extension of Banking Hour as well as Keeping the Bank Branches/Sub Branches Open adjacent to Qurbani Cattle haat under Dhaka South City Corporation, Dhaka North City Corporation and Chattogram City Corporation
The document instructs scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh to extend banking hours at selected branches near Qurbani cattle markets under the Dhaka South, Dhaka North, and Chattogram City Corporations from June 25 to June 26, 2023, and maintain normal hours until the day before Eid-ul-Adha. Banks are advised to establish temporary booths at these markets to facilitate cash transactions and provide special allowances to staff working extended hours. A list of specific markets under the Chattogram City Corporation is included in the circular.
