BRPD Circular Letter No. 27: Special Incentives for Bankers Working at Bank Premises During Government-Declared General Holidays for the COVID-19 Pandemic
The Bangladesh Bank extends the validity of previous circulars regarding special incentive allowances for bank staff working on-site during the COVID-19 pandemic. The allowance remains payable for two months from the start of the government-declared general holidays, or until May 28, 2020. From May 29, 2020, the special incentive allowance is discontinued, and staff commuting to bank premises will be eligible for travel allowances under the banks' own policies.
