BRPD Circular Letter No. 30: Taking Measures to Prevent Dengue
The BRPD directs all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh to implement specific measures to prevent dengue, including regular cleaning of bank premises and surrounding areas, destruction of mosquito breeding sites, and maintenance of office and residential buildings. Banks are required to use mosquito repellents in work areas, raise awareness among staff and customers, and cooperate with municipal authorities on cleanliness initiatives. These instructions are issued under the powers granted by Section 45 of the Companies Act, 1991.
