BRPD Circular Letter No. 32: Prohibition of taking mailing or postal or delivery services through Courier Services having no license
The document prohibits all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh from sending, receiving, or distributing mail items through unlicensed mailing operators or courier services. This directive is issued under the authority of Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991, to enforce prohibitions established by Section 4E and 4I of the Post Office Act, 1898, and Rule 11(1) of the Mailing Operator and Courier Services Rules, 2013. The instruction takes immediate effect.
