BRPD Circular Letter No. 38: Regarding Loan Rescheduling of Shipbuilding Industry
The Bangladesh Bank extends the deadline for shipbuilding industry enterprises to submit applications for loan rescheduling to November 30, 2023. This extension applies to the requirement of depositing the necessary cash amount as a down payment, which was previously set at 90 days from the issuance of Circular Letter No. 12. All other instructions contained in Circular Letter No. 12/2023 remain unchanged and effective immediately under Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991.
