BRPD Circular Letter No. 42: Name change of First Security Islami Bank Ltd to First Security Isalmi Bank PLC
The Bangladesh Bank officially changed the name of the scheduled bank 'First Security Islami Bank Ltd' to 'First Security Islami Bank PLC' effective Wednesday, 19 Ashwin 1430 (October 4, 2023). This action was taken under Section 37(2)(p) of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972, and the change was recorded in the list of scheduled banks. A copy of the relevant notification (BRPD(LS-1)/745(52)/2023-8308) was attached to the circular for the information and necessary action of all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh.
