BRPD Circular Letter No. 46: Name change of Pubali Bank Ltd to Pubali Bank PLC
The Bangladesh Bank officially changed the name of the scheduled bank Pubali Bank Ltd to Pubali Bank PLC, effective Monday, 24 Ashwin 1430 (October 9, 2023), pursuant to Rule 11C(a) of the Companies Act, 1994. This change was enacted via Notification No. BRPD(LS-1)/745(10)/2023-8472 issued under Section 37(2)(p) of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972. The circular directs all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh to take necessary action regarding this name change.
