BRPD Circular Letter No. 49: Name change of The Premier Bank Ltd to The Premier Bank PLC
The Bangladesh Bank officially changed the name of The Premier Bank Ltd to The Premier Bank PLC in the list of scheduled banks, effective Thursday, 27 Ashwin 1430 (October 12, 2023). This action was taken under Section 11C(c) of the Companies Act, 1994 and Section 37(2)(p) of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972. A copy of the relevant notification (BRPD(LS-1)/745(47)/2023-8659) is attached to the circular for the information and necessary action of all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh.
