BRPD Circular Letter No. 52: Name change of Southeast Bank Ltd to Southeast Bank PLC
Bangladesh Bank officially changed the name of Southeast Bank Limited to Southeast Bank PLC in the list of scheduled banks, effective Monday, November 7, 2023. This change was made under Section 11C(a) of the Companies Act, 1994, and is formalized through Notification No. BRPD(LS-1)/745(22)/2023-9403 issued under Section 37(2)(p) of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972. All scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh are notified to take necessary action regarding this name change.
