BRPD Circular Letter No. 57: Name change of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd to Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC
Bangladesh Bank officially changes the name of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd to Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC in the list of scheduled banks, effective Wednesday, 15 November 2023. This change is implemented under Section 11C(c) of the Companies Act, 1994 and Section 37(2)(p) of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972. The notification is issued to all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh for their information and necessary action.
