In accordance with Rule 11C(a) of the Companies Act, 1994, the Bangladesh Bank has changed the name of 'Union Bank Limited' to 'Union Bank PLC.' (in English: Union Bank PLC.) in the list of scheduled banks, effective Wednesday, 29 November 2023, corresponding to 14 Agrahayan 1430.
