BRPD Circular Letter No. 72: Name change of The City Bank Ltd to City Bank PLC
The Bangladesh Bank officially changed the name of The City Bank Limited to City Bank PLC in the list of scheduled banks, effective December 10, 2023. This action was taken in accordance with Rule 11C(1) of the Companies Act, 1994, and Notification No. BRPD(LS-1)/745(16)/2023-10586. The circular directs all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh to take necessary action regarding this name change.
