Bangladesh Bank has changed the name of 'National Credit and Commerce Bank Limited' to 'National Credit and Commerce Bank PLC.' in the list of scheduled banks, effective from December 13, 2023. This change was made in accordance with Section 11A(a) of the Companies Act, 1994, and Section 37(2)(p) of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972. All scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh are informed of this name change, with a copy of the official notification attached for their information and necessary action.
