BRPD Circular Letter No. 77: Name change of Rupali Bank Ltd to Rupali Bank PLC
Bangladesh Bank officially changed the name of Rupali Bank Limited to Rupali Bank PLC in the list of scheduled banks, effective Thursday, December 14, 2023. This change was made in accordance with Rule 11K(a) of the Companies Act, 1994, under the authority granted by Section 37(2)(p) of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972. The circular directs all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh to take necessary action based on the attached notification.
