BRPD Circular Letter No. 78: Name change of Community Bank Bangladesh Ltd to Community Bank Bangladesh PLC
Bangladesh Bank has changed the name of 'Community Bank Bangladesh Limited' to 'Community Bank Bangladesh PLC.' in the list of scheduled banks. This change is effective from December 17, 2023, in accordance with Section 11A(a) of the Companies Act, 1994, and Section 37(2)(p) of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972. All scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh are informed of this name change and are required to take necessary action.
