BRPD Circular No. 08: Loan Classification and Provisioning
All scheduled banks in Bangladesh must report loan classification and provisioning data using revised CL formats and an updated Enterprise Data Warehouse template starting from the September 2015 quarter. The circular modifies the CL-1, CL-2, CL-3, CL-4, CL-5, and CL-1 OBU forms to ensure meticulous compliance with the Banking Companies Act, 1991. Existing instructions from previous circulars remain unchanged, while the specific data collection templates for continuous, demand, fixed term, and short-term agricultural loans are updated.
