BRPD Circular No. 10: Change of designation title 'General Manager' and 'Deputy General Manager' of Bangladesh Bank
Bangladesh Bank has officially changed the designation titles 'General Manager' and 'Deputy General Manager' to 'Director' and 'Additional Director', respectively, across various cadres and departments. The circular mandates the use of these new titles in all official correspondence, including letters and emails, effective immediately. A comprehensive list of abbreviations for department names in both Bengali and English is provided in the annexure to standardize usage. The previous salary grades associated with the old titles remain applicable to the new designations.
