BRPD Circular No. 13: Loan Classification
The document extends the grace period for loan classification to 31 August 2021 for borrowers who pay at least 20% of the total installments due up to June 2021 through bank-customer relationships. The remaining balance of the June 2021 installments must be paid in the final installment, and other installments must be paid on time. This directive applies to all scheduled banks in Bangladesh and is issued under Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991.
