Bulletin Credit Report

The Financial Services Commission of Jamaica mandates that natural persons and associated corporate applicants submit a credit report as part of their licensing or registration applications under the Insurance, Securities, Pensions, and TCSP Acts. The credit report must be no older than 30 days and obtained from a Bank of Jamaica-licensed bureau for residents or an authorized entity in the applicant's jurisdiction for non-residents. This requirement supports the FSC's statutory obligation to assess the fit and proper status of individuals and senior executives involved in regulated financial services.
