Announcement on the Issuance of Additional 2 Convertible Marks and 5, 10, and 20 Feninga Coins Minted in 2008

CENTRAL BANK OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

ANNOUNCEMENT

on the issuance of additional coins of the denomination of 2 Convertible Marks and 5, 10, and 20 Feninga minted in 2008

In accordance with the Decision on the minting of additional quantities of coins in denominations of 1 and 2 Convertible Marks and in denominations of 5, 10, and 20 Feninga, Decision No. 311/08 dated February 27, 2008, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina has minted additional quantities of coins of the denomination of 2 Convertible Marks and denominations of 5, 10, and 20 Feninga.

These coins have the basic features and technical characteristics established as follows:

• for the denomination of 2 Convertible Marks, by the Decision on the issuance, basic features, and putting into circulation of coins of 1 and 2 Convertible Marks, Decision No. 12/00 dated June 23 and 28, 2000 ('Official Gazette of BiH', 20/00),
• for the denominations of 10 and 20 Feninga, by the Decision on the issuance, basic features, and putting into circulation of coins of 10, 20, and 50 Feninga, Decision No. 23/98 dated November 18 and 19, 1998 ('Official Gazette of BiH', 24/98 and 25/98),
• for the denomination of 5 Feninga, by the Decision on the issuance, basic features, and putting into circulation of coins in denominations of 5 Convertible Marks and 5 Feninga, Decision No. 157/05 dated December 22, 2005 ('Official Gazette of BiH', 92/05),
  with the proviso that on the reverse of all the aforementioned coin denominations, the numerical designation, as the year of coin minting, is '2008'.

Starting from September 10, 2008, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina will put the aforementioned coins into circulation as legal tender in Bosnia and Herzegovina through the central office, main units, and branches.

The announcement on the issuance of coins of the denomination of 2 Convertible Marks and 5, 10, and 20 Feninga, additionally minted in 2008, will be available on the website of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This announcement will be published in the 'Official Gazette of BiH', 'Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH', 'Official Gazette of the Republika Srpska', and 'Official Gazette of the Brčko District of BiH'.
