2020-12-31 | Règlement BCL 2020/N°29Added
The Central Bank of Luxembourg removes the eligibility of asset-backed securities containing mortgage claims or SME loans that fail to meet specific requirements under ECB Guideline 2014/31, as these assets have never been utilized. The regulation also modifies the calculation method for pecuniary sanctions regarding non-compliant private claims included in a portfolio, ensuring that penalties are not disproportionate by aggregating the values of all non-compliant claims within that portfolio. These amendments enter into force the day following their publication.
