CB Circular No. 15 of 2020: Measures Taken During the COVID-19 Pandemic
The Bank of Zambia mandates the continuation of specific measures to promote digital financial services and ensure safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. Financial service providers are required to waive charges for person-to-person electronic money transfers up to K150 until June 30, 2020. Additionally, institutions must provide hand sanitisers and masks to frontline staff and sensitize the public on using digital channels for financial services.
