Authorized Signatories for Settlements by Cheque, Draft and Other Financial Instruments
The Bank of Zambia issued Circular No. 08/2002 to update the roster of authorized signatories for executing settlements via cheques, drafts, and other financial instruments in local and foreign currencies. Effective immediately, the directive appoints Mr Eric Masumbu, Senior Accountant – Payroll, as an additional Category B signatory for these transactions. All previously authorized signatures remain valid, supplementing the existing framework established under the February 2001 directive.
