Central Bank of Jordan Banking Notification Instructions No. 12/2025
The Central Bank of Jordan issued Banking Notification Instructions No. 12/2025, effective immediately, requiring all licensed banks, subsidiaries, and sub-subsidiaries in Jordan to declare credit facilities reaching a minimum approval limit of 20,000 Jordanian Dinars. Banks must upload monthly data to the Office Supervision System by the tenth day of the following month, assigning unique banking transaction numbers to customers and adhering to specific reporting rules for non-performing debt, consortium loans, and deceased or liquidated entities. The instructions repeal twenty-two previous circulars and instructions dating from 1976 to 2018 to consolidate the regulatory framework for banking notifications.
