Rule · CBJ · 4 Nov 2013
The Central Bank of Jordan mandates that all charitable donations for Syrian refugees, whether inside or outside camps, must be channeled exclusively to the Ministry of Finance. These funds are required to be deposited into a specific trust account (No. 3/3100/1) held at the Central Bank of Jordan, effectively prohibiting other entities from collecting such donations. This directive enforces a prior Prime Minister's decision to centralize donation handling under the Ministry of Finance and applies to all local and foreign charitable organizations operating in the Kingdom.
