Central Bank of Jordan Circular No. 17/3/9/179 Regarding Licensed Money Changer Payment Systems
The Central Bank of Jordan declares that electronic payment systems licensed to money changers in the Kingdom for managing and operating financial transfers are deemed approved if used in one or more countries other than the Kingdom. This decision exempts these money changers from the provisions of the 2020 Instructions on Approving Global Electronic Payment Systems No. (3) of 2020. The Governor retains the authority to determine any additional conditions and requirements that these approved companies must comply with.
