The Central Bank of Jordan mandates the daily disclosure of mandatory cash reserves, excess reserves, and related monetary policy instrument data effective November 21, 2005. These figures, measured in Jordanian Dinars, are compiled via the Reuters system (2CBJE) and published on the Central Bank's website. This requirement applies to the banking sector to enhance transparency and liquidity management.

Starting from the Central Bank's policy aimed at developing the money market and the capital market, and to enhance the principle of transparency and disclosure, and to improve banks' ability to plan and manage their liquidity and improve pricing efficiency, the Central Bank of Jordan will begin, effective from its date, daily disclosure of the following figures:
The Central Bank of Jordan will compile the above data through the Reuters system (2CBJE), as well as on the Central Bank of Jordan's website: www.cbj.gov.jo.
