The Central Bank of Jordan mandates licensed banks to finance renewable energy projects for individuals, houses, and small and medium companies through the Fund for Encouraging Renewable Energy and Energy Saving. Advances are capped at 3,000 Jordanian Dinars for individuals and houses, and 250,000 Jordanian Dinars for small and medium companies. Banks must advance funds from their own resources, verify applicant compliance with medium-term advance conditions, and submit periodic applications every two weeks to the Central Bank and the Jordan Loan Guarantee Corporation. This circulation is effective immediately.
