We enclose herewith a copy of Interim Decision No. 13829 dated 2026/06/29 concerning the amendment of the Basic Decision No. 7858 dated 2001/06/30 (Statistical Statements) attached to Basic Circular No. 85.

Interim Decision No. 13829

Amendment of Basic Decision No. 7858 dated 2001/06/30

The Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon,
Pursuant to the Monetary and Exchange Law, particularly Article 146 thereof, Pursuant to Basic Decision No. 7858 dated 2001/06/30 and its amendments concerning statistical statements, Pursuant to the decision of the Central Council of the Central Bank of Lebanon taken during its session held on 2026/06/24

Has approved the following:

Article One: The text of the entire "Sixth" paragraph and the "Seventh" paragraph of Article One of Basic Decision No. 7858 dated 2001/06/30 is repealed and replaced with the following:

« Sixth: Banks and non-bank financial institutions that conduct foreign money transfer operations via all electronic means shall provide the Data and Economic Analysis Department at the Central Bank of Lebanon, monthly, with a statement of funds movements transferred to and from abroad, according to the form (FXM) attached to this Decision. Seventh: All banks shall provide the Data and Economic Analysis Department at the Central Bank of Lebanon:

• With a statement of deposit tiers frozen at the end of each year according to depositor classification, according to the form (DPTR) attached to this Decision.
• With a statement of deposit tiers frozen at the end of each quarter according to the form (3DPTR) attached to this Decision.»

Article Two: The text of items (7) and (8) of Article Two of Basic Decision No. 7858 dated 2001/06/30 is repealed and replaced with the following:

«- 7 The statement referred to in the "Sixth" paragraph of Article One of this Decision shall be sent monthly, within a period of fifteen days from the date of the end of the declared period, via the Electronic Report Submission Project (eSTR) within the SEBIL system.

• 8 The (DPTR) statement referred to in the "Seventh" paragraph of Article One of this Decision shall be sent annually, within a maximum deadline of the end of the month of January of each year, and the (3DPTR) statement shall be sent quarterly, within a period of twenty-five days from the date of the end of the declared quarter, via the Electronic Report Submission Project (eSTR) within the SEBIL system. »

Article Three: This Decision shall be effective as of the frozen status dated 2026/06/30.

Article Four: This Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette.
