CIB Circular Letter No. 01: Regarding cut off time of upload of Credit Information to the Credit Information System (CIS)
The Credit Information Bureau mandates that institutions report new loans and any status changes to existing loans in the Credit Information System (CIS) in real-time on the date of approval, distribution, or change. This directive, issued under Article 44(1) of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972, immediately supersedes Circular Letter No. 01/2023 and takes effect immediately for all scheduled banks and finance companies operating in Bangladesh.
