CIB Circular Letter No. 02: Registration fee for CIB online services, imposition and realization of service charges for CIB reports generated through CIB online system, penalties imposed on banks and FIs failed to contribute batch monthly contribution in time and for disclosure of credit information contained in CIB reports and exaction of money as penalties for these from banks/FIs concerned.
Bangladesh Bank exempts service charges for Credit Information Bureau (CIB) reports generated for new loan applications or renewals up to BDT 250,000 under the Agriculture and Rural Credit Department's scheme for crop and other sectors. Banks must submit a monthly list of beneficiaries, including borrower details and loan amounts, to the bureau by the 5th of the following month to avail this exemption. All other instructions from CIB Circular No. 02/2011 remain unchanged, and this directive takes immediate effect.
