Gentlemen:

With the purpose of optimizing the results of balance verification exposed in the Reconciliation Statements, the Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) communicates to the Banks and Financial Entities authorized by the Financial System Supervision Authority, which maintain accounts with the BCB in national currency (N/C), foreign currency (F/C), national currency with value maintenance relative to the US dollar (MVDOL), and housing development units (UFV), the obligation to submit their monthly reconciliation statements and the documentation described in the following paragraphs, by the fifth day of each month following the reconciliation date.

The reconciliation statements must be prepared and submitted in the format defined in form No. 1720-006 (attached), which is also available on the BCB website.

Furthermore, when the "Reconciliation Statements" at the reconciliation date show amounts as pending items in the categories of "Our pending debits and our pending credits," Financial Entities will submit, attached to them, the supporting documentation that justifies the operation carried out and pending reconciliation. The subsequent non-regularization of those pending items due to the lack of timely submission of supporting documentation will be the exclusive responsibility of the Financial Entities.

The Administration Management of the Central Bank of Bolivia will verify the balances and the correct presentation of the Reconciliation Statements and communicate to the Banks and Financial Entities when there are observations regarding them.

Non-compliance with this Circular will be communicated to the Financial System Supervision Authority, for the purposes that correspond.

Circular SGRAL. No. 015/2009 dated May 13, 2009, is hereby repealed.
