Circular 01 of 2026 - Temporary downtime of the Debt Help System (DHS)
The Debt Help System (DHS) is temporarily unavailable due to misconfiguration issues, rendering all system functions inaccessible. Debt Counsellors are exempt from non-compliance penalties for requirements mandating DHS use during this downtime, provided they maintain accurate offline records of all debt review applications and documentation for subsequent upload. Counsellors must continue performing duties by retaining generated documents and advising consumers about the temporary unavailability and credit restrictions.
