Circular 1/2003 — Direct Communication with SIEFORES
The Bank of Mexico establishes direct electronic communication (fax and email) as the official channel for disseminating regulatory provisions to Specialized Investment Societies for Retirement Funds (SIEFORES), effective July 14, 2003. SIEFORES are required to submit a signed communication form with certified powers of attorney by June 30, 2003, providing their contact details and agreeing to the legal validity of electronic notices. Recipients must install the "WebSec" software by June 30, 2003, to ensure the integrity and authenticity of the electronic signatures used by the Bank.
