Greetings,

Based on the provisions of Law No. (1) of 2005 concerning Banks and its amendments, and on the supervisory and regulatory role exercised by the Central Bank of Libya over banks operating in Libya in accordance with the provisions of the Law.

And with reference to the decision of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Libya in its first meeting of 2026, held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, which stipulated the modification of the exchange rate of the Libyan Dinar.

We hereby inform you of the instructions of the Central Bank of Libya that the official exchange rate of the Libyan Dinar for various purposes is the rate specified by the aforementioned Board of Directors' decision, and in accordance with the daily bulletin for the sale and purchase of foreign currencies against the Libyan Dinar issued by the Central Bank of Libya.
