Circular 114/2002 — Electronic Submission of Provisions to Brokerage Houses
The Bank of Mexico requires brokerage houses to install the "WebSec" software and provide electronic contact details by November 8, 2002, to receive regulatory provisions via fax and email starting November 11, 2002. These electronic communications, secured by the Extended Security Infrastructure (IES), hold full legal validity. Brokerage houses must also collect printed copies of Circular 115/2002 between November 4 and 8, 2002, by submitting a signed receipt.
