Circular 1294 modifies Circular 1282 to update the rules for credit institutions consolidating the financial statements of trusts established for restructuring credits denominated in Investment Units (UDIs). The amendments specify that institutions must include total provisions created in the trusts, including those funded by net profits, and define how trust results and credit portfolios are classified in the consolidated statements. It mandates that consolidated financial statements be identified as such, require independent public accountant opinions for annual consolidated statements, and sets publication deadlines starting from the first quarter of 1996, with the first consolidated exercise due by February 29, 1996.
