Circular 20/2017 — Exemptions from the obligation to report information through forms for force majeure cases occurring on September 19, 2017
The Bank of Mexico exempts credit institutions and the National Financial Institution for Agricultural, Rural, Forestry and Fisheries Development from administrative sanction procedures for failing to report information between September 19 and 22, 2017, due to the earthquake on September 19. This exemption applies to all reporting forms except those listed in Annex 1, which require regular reporting or prior notification of inability to report via email to the Financial System Information Directorate. Affected institutions must submit any missing information for the exempted dates by September 25, 2017.
