Circular 24/2008 — Modifies Circular 2031/97
The Bank of Mexico modifies the Operational Rules of the Reciprocal Payments and Credits Agreement by updating the catalogs of authorized institutions for Brazil and Venezuela. The update adds numerous Brazilian banking branches and Venezuelan financial entities to the list of institutions permitted to operate under the agreement with the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI) and the Dominican Republic. Credit institutions in Mexico are informed that pages A.II.7 and A.II.34 of the previous regulations have been updated to reflect these changes.
