The Central Bank of Libya amends the governance structure for the Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) by transferring the chairmanship from the Board of Directors to the Executive Management, specifically assigning the General Manager as chair and the Deputy Chairman as a member. Banks are required to update their ALCO strategic policy manual to reflect these changes and submit a record of the modification to the Central Bank within one month of the circular's date. This directive supersedes previous assignments outlined in Circular 13/2010 and the periodic letter 2022/10.
