Circular 30/2009 — Modifies Circular 2019/95

The Bank of Mexico modifies Circular 2019/95 to regulate the acceptance of promissory notes by multiple banking institutions. It establishes conditions for accepting domestic currency notes, including prior receipt of funds or a credit line, issuance by third parties, a term exceeding one banking business day, and negotiability. It also introduces new rules for accepting foreign currency notes under identical conditions and repeals previous sections M.11.51 through M.11.54. These changes enter into force on January 11, 2010.
