The Bank of Mexico adds a Sixteenth Rule to the General Rules governing credit information societies and their users, requiring these societies to provide the Bank with database information, special credit reports for legal entities, and generated indicators or indexes. The Bank of Mexico is authorized to request this information through the General Directorate of Financial System Analysis, and such requests are exempt from being recorded in special credit reports. This Circular entered into force on December 4, 2008.
