The Bank of Mexico terminates existing monetary regulation deposits established under Circular 30/2008 and requires credit institutions to constitute new deposits totaling $278,529,019,107.00 MXN by June 19, 2014. These deposits accrue interest based on the Bank's one-day interbank interest rate target, calculated using a specified formula, and may be composed of cash, securities, or both as determined by the Bank. The rules governing these deposits enter into force on June 17, 2014, and Circular 30/2008 is repealed effective June 19, 2014.
