The Central Bank of the Republic Argentina amends the minimum resource application and minimum cash regulations for financial entities, effective March 1, 2003. The changes update specific points regarding fixed-term deposits with CER clauses and Central Bank letters adjusted by the CER, while introducing a deduction mechanism for National Government Bonds maturing in 2002. These amendments modify the calculation of minimum reserves and cash holdings required from financial institutions under the existing regulatory framework.
